POGL goes transpacific
POGL will ensure a number of outsize drums, including an individual item weighing 536 tonnes, are shipped from Mailiao, Taiwan to Point Comfort.
HLPFI reported on October 7, 2015, that POGL had transported drums and heat exchangers to the USA for the same project. The cargoes were safely discharged from the vessel onto self-propelled modular transporters (SPMT), where they were held at a temporary staging yard prior to delivery to the Formosa jobsite.
POGL said a third shipment, including a 1,000-tonne cargo, is scheduled for delivery for the same project.
